I am 16 so, while I don't have a full beard, but most of my face except chin area has high hair density. I generally don't shave but recently. after shaving, my skin pheno almost entirely changed. I went from literally yellow skinned to quite pale.
Jaundice Disease with Causes, Treatment and Nursing Intervention

This image is slightly exaggerated, ofc since the first dude has actual jaundice. But the transition actually looked something like this(minus the eye color).
I had a lot of people ask how my skin color almost entirely changed in a day. I thought it was just the beard making it look bad but after about a week and half , it started to revert back to the slight yellowish tone. I then, regrew the beard because i didn't want to give the impression that i used some chemicals which had their effect run off.

Now that I am bearded again, and plan to shave soon for an event, is there any way to make the 2nd pheno stay instead of it reverting back to subhuman jaundice tier? I notice that getting rid of mustache and chin hair had the biggest impact, even with mutton chops, I looked pale.

Can anyone help explain the drastic change in skin color and some way to retain the 2nd skin tone, not lose it.

If it is relevant, I was pale skinned most of my childhood. After puberty, I developed a strong yellow undertone. I am now, the darkest(and yellowest) in my entire family. While i always planned to revert to my baseline pheno via natural methods such as vitamin c maxxing and kojic acid, i never acted on it and shaving made me realize that it wasn't all lost either.

Tl dr: I used to be pale skinned, got yellower after puberty. On shaving, I reverted back to my baseline pheno but in 10 days or so, I got yellow shit skin again. Any advices on my next shave and how to keep the skin gains permanently when I shave? I was thinking sunscream but then It's not like I was out in the sun which got my skin back to yellow so it may not address the root cause at all

I notice that there is no similar thread on this community relating to this so, it might sound weird. If so, please feel free to ask any questions. I thank all positive contributions in advance
