For years now I've had to deal with post-inflammatory erythema seeing the people around me who eat like shit with little to no skin problems while I'm being over cautious to the point of disgust consuming anything over 1 ingredient. When it clears up if I breakout again those marks will linger potentially for months and the process begins all over again.

It may not be a huge issue to the outside world but it generally pisses me off I obsess over my looks where one pimple could ruin my whole day. I have no active acne I eat well and I aim to drink 4-5 L of water daily or try to. My skincare consists of ingredients such as Vitamin C serum, Azelaic acid, Niacinamide and SPF 50+ of course. (Opinions on tinted sunscreen as I've been recommended it countless times?)

But nothing seems to work I am well aware I should get it checked by professionals or use tretinoin/retinoids but I've been cautious over products that purge. Is there any tips on the % concentration I should be taking initially?

Appreciate it.

Use tretanoin, solved my pie start with 0.025 and work your way up. You seem to be doing everything correctly so just give it a go or go see a dermatologist
