So this is mainly water, but I would like to share my experience with otc stuff.
My skin became kind of shit and stayed shit even after 6 months of daily tretinoin.
Previously I have tried all kinds of otc creams and gels, and in summary none of that shit works, and your skin will continue to be shit.
I have been doing my current routine for like 2 weeks and its fixed my skin.
So the current routine that actually works is very simple:
Every night:
Wash with water
Pea sized tret dabbed then spread evenly (strongest retinoid other than tazarotene)
tiny amounts Vitamin e and urea cream spread over skin that gets dry from the tret
azelaic acid 20% dabbed over dark spots and acne (its good cuz its a mild anti adrogen)
Some sort of zinc supplement
Mornings:
Wash with cold water (overcleansing makes me skin dry asf)
Sunscreen all over face
More azelaic over spots and places that you know are acne prone (thin layer)
Hyaluronic acid hydrating gel over bits of skin that are dry asf (my chin from bsing)
Other stuff:
could try drinking green tea (can buy the bottle kind from asian supermarkets)
avoid drinking skim milk
don't have shower water rape your face (also dont make it too hot)
DONT TOUCH YOUR FACE
Look into estriol cream
