I had mild acne, I have used topicals like azelaic acid 15pc gel, salicylic acid serum 2 pc, benzoyl peroxide for them, but none of them really work that much, I was tired of this applying shitt and not getting rid of them, so one day I applied nothing and just washed my face, normally even when I applied products I used to get acne at morning like the acne I had used to flame up aka become more bigger, but when I applied it didn't, so I thought not to apply anything on my face for 7 days, and I didn't get any new acne at all, the remaining ones were slowly going back. Now, what I think, the reason for this was applying products made my skin oily and also made me had a dull appearance and due to excess oil and sebum production, my acne was always there and new tends to come, and it's not like I fixed my diet or smth it was the same, but now I still have closed comedones on my chin, forehead, corners of nose, but am thinking if I again apply any product, I might acne again, also I need to treat my PIH scars too, so I need to apply something, anyone knows what's actually happening to my skin ? And accutane just for the closed comedones would be okay coz it's prescription based and saw some bad side effects of it on reddit and a guy named aesthetic primal posted a study in which it said accutane might cause growth plate closure , I don't really want to hop on some drug rn, but I want to reduce the pore size too tretonin would be okay for that?

Instead of the skincare, I applied nothing for my acne, and got no new acne, I just want to know if I should apply anything again coz there are still some closed comedones and PIH scars

First of all, you need to have healthy diet to prevent any digestive system issues , then if It didn't fix anything
Just use acutane

The combination of azelaic acid in the morning and tret in the evening from skinorac works great for me for acne and pores. I do however use spf50 and moisturiser from la roche posay along with a decent diet.
