Skincare in general has never helped me. Over the counter products are a cope. The only products that’s actually gaven me noticeable changes is some prescription products like tret and chemical peels
Muhhhh retinol muhhh vitamin c muhhh salicyic acid
Its not even that these products dont work at all theyll give some slight temporary boosts but the problem is its overpriced with minimal effects
Used vitamin c for like 3 years straight and noticed almost no changes. My skin would have temporary glow immediately after using it but thats about it.
Skincare industry is a huge scam. Making you buy cope products that take 5 cents to make and reselling for $30 a tiny ass bottle that will need to be replaced in a week. A lot of these products also have very bady formulations and can even make your skin worse.
It also has no long term effects. Skin cant be changed long term unless you do surgeries or use harsh treatments all you can do is prevent it from getting worse via sunscreen and use products that can give you temporary effects like retinol but once you stop using it will be like you never did it in the first place
Honestly regret falling for the skin care scam
