Introduction:
This routine is for general maintenance. Similar to how you would cruise on low dose testosterone, you should always have a skincare routine even if you don’t have acne. You might ask, “why should I?” due to the fact that you won’t see any immediate benefits. You should always be doing skincare for aging and acne prevention. In this thread, I will be including all of the optional shitty products, but I’ll keep the important ones bold. This thread is science backed, but I’m too lazy right now to link some dumb fucking water stupid studies. Maybe later I’ll add a spoiler with some gpt shit

Morning routine:
  1. Cleanse (with cleanser, not soap dumbass, this should always be first, clean off whatever you slept in from your night routine. Think of this like soap/shampoo)
  2. Whatever Optional Products you use (Serum,Toner, etc)
  3. Moisturize (after cleansing your skin will be dry and needing to be moisturized)
  4. Sunscreen (it’s better to use a dedicated daily sunscreen instead of using a spf moisturizer. Adding sunscreen to spf moisturizer they will work together + provide more spread and consistency)
  5. Makeup and other optional cosmetics
Night Routine:
  1. Cleanse + makeup remover, if using
  2. 1x/week exfoliation also do not exfoliate and use retinoids on the same night, chemical exfoliation better
  3. Retinoids (Retinol, Tretinoin, with the latter being more effective, only do these on nights you are not exfoliating)
  4. Optional products
  5. PM Moisturize (use a pm moisturizer)
Tips:
  • If you notice your skin irritated, lower the frequency of retinoid usage
  • Accutane and tretinoin can be used together but beware of too much vitamin shit and also irritation
  • This is only a general guide which will provide anti aging. Since everyones situation will vary (eg some may have certian skin issues or want to apply makeup/cosmetics) The “optional”slots have been provided to help you plan your products there

didn't work for me tbh
i tried a similar routine.
you won’t see immediate results because it’s acne and aging prevention. You will prevent bad things from happening with it
