Skipping school

I only have 2 classes since I'm a senior in high school

My first class is virtual, but I still have to go in person and be in the library while I do my class

My second class is full in person and tomorrow I have a group presentation that I don't wanna do

I already did my part on the actual work I just don't wanna present

I'm pretty sure that since this isn't a super important assignment, my teacher won't postpone my group's presentation till Monday just because I'm not there (worse case scenario I'll be prepared with 50mg propranolol )

Now I wanna come up with an excuse to tell my parents for why I won't be at school

I was thinking that I could just say it's senior skip day, but when it's actually senior skip day they might get suspicious and make me go that day or something

I could turn my alarm off and say that my phone glitched or something, but they might not believe me or they'll just say to go in late

Faking sick would prolly be dumb since I just got over a cold days ago

I'm open to all ideas so lets hear em

if you really don’t want to do it tell your parents that you need a mental break. They’ll probably not think that’s a good excuse so next you need to tell them that it will be their fault when you rope.

that's what i usually do, but this time i think i can just not do it and not have any consequences

No point in missing school
The Presentation shouldn't take more than 10 minutes
just stand awkwardly and read at fast paced speed when it's your turn
Or ask your groupmates if they'll read your part,
I promise no one is going to care about your how you present your presentation
if worse comes to worst just take the propanol

That's what I'd usually say, but there are literally no downsides in missing school

Attendance isn't a problem

I wouldn't be missing any work

So why stress abt something that I don't have to do
