Skull size does not matter in the slightest. Bone projection is more important when relating to the skull. Jaw > Eyes > Zygos in terms of bones but overall features are the most important (Nose, Eye shape, Eyebrow placement and mouth area).

Yeah, it's literally all about ratios. People here still haven't realize that by simply increasing/decreasing width ratios of the upper or lower third, it dramatically changes the perceived shape of the face. Wider bigonial on a previously wider bizygomatic = more rectangular than prior. Diamond shape only comes from Zygos being a good deal wider than bigonials. Big skull looks like crap if you don't have the sufficient width in upper and lower third. Whereas if you add Zygos and gonial width to an average skull, it looks amazing regardless.
