Slavs are way to diverse to be stereotyped tbh, when i think about it the biggest thing that makes south slavs being labeled slavs is the language, in reality if people here retained the Romance Latin language that was spoken here before the Slavs arrived, the west Balkan countries would be Romance and not Slavic today, and im talking if everything else except the language stayed the same.

Sourh slavic culture is "different" from Russian or Polish. Its like people here are by mentality and culture in between Greek and Italian and Polish/Russian. Its like 50% Italian Greek and 40% East European culture and mentality, and 10% Middle Eastern.

South Slavs are complicated, its hard to completely explain but for example the North parts of Bosnia, Serbia and Croatia are slavic in feel, culture and even genetics while the south parts (where im from) are paleo balkan
