This quora post is the only thing I’ve been able to find regarding this topic that makes any sort of sense whatsoever, still could be due to a long time of steroid use as opposed to just 1 - 3 cycles.

After further research, there isn’t a single study supporting this. The damage isn’t done to the cells rather than the suppression done towards the reproductive system.
