So yep, you read that right. I caught chlamydia.
Believe it or not, this is only the second time I’ve caught chlamydia. My body count is 115, and I’ve been with close to 90 girls in the past year and a half, so considering the amount of activity, I’ve honestly gotten pretty lucky. But yeah, this one is quite an interesting story, so let’s get right into it.
And before anybody says anything, I don’t make these posts to brag. The whole point of these is to give you guys insight into my experiences, what works for me, and how I approach dating and escalation. So take whatever you can learn from it.
Also, I’ve been teasing this in my last couple of posts, and you guys have actually been showing these Slay Logs a good amount of love. I think I’m getting some traction with them, so I’m probably going to drop my entire dating guide as my next post.
Anyway, this was a chick I met on Bumble. Bumble has been extremely hit or miss for me this year. Sometimes it’s really good, other times it’s basically dead. That’s exactly why I’ve always said you need to be on all three major dating apps instead of relying on one.
Funny enough, I couldn’t even get a picture of this girl for the post because she was the one who gave me chlamydia. After we hooked up, she blocked me, never gave me her socials, and unmatched me on Bumble. So I had absolutely nothing to work with. Luckily I still had proof of the whole situation through a video recording.
My usual dating-app funnel is pretty simple. When I match with a girl, I’ll normally say something like, “What’s up love, how’s your day going?” It’s basically the same opener I use on Snapchat. She tells me how her day’s going, I’ll ask what she’s looking for on the app, and whatever she says, I’ll usually respond with something along the lines of, “I’m just going with the flow. I’m open to a relationship, but I’m not going to force it.”
Then I’ll ask if I can grab her number and talk on the phone.
And here’s something you guys need to understand: the majority of girls you match with on dating apps are not going to link with you. Stop getting obsessed with these screenshots of guys who get hundreds of matches and act like that’s representative of normal dating-app results.
I know guys who are extremely attractive who still don’t convert every match. Looks obviously matter, but there’s also a huge difference between having good facial aesthetics and actually having sex appeal. You can have great PSL stats and still have absolutely no game. That whole PSL-to-sex ratio spreadsheet people make is hilarious to me.
Anyway, she eventually came over. Honestly, the actual date was pretty uneventful. She came inside, sat on my bed, and we talked for about an hour. There wasn’t really any hesitation or awkwardness. The vibe was good, things escalated naturally, and it turned into a hookup.
The one thing that did throw me off was that I noticed some unusual discharge during the hookup, along with a slight odor. It definitely caught my attention and honestly turned me off a little bit. But by that point, everything was already happening, so I didn’t think much more about it.
Afterward, she basically left immediately. She was like, “Okay, I’m done, I’m good,” and then she was out.
I tried reaching back out afterward and realized she’d blocked me. Then I checked Bumble and she’d removed me there too.
At that point I was like, “Alright, that’s weird.”
Two or three days later, I started getting a burning sensation when I peed.
Immediately, I knew something was probably wrong.
I went and got tested, and sure enough…
Chlamydia.
So unfortunately, the Slay Logs are going on a short intermission. I actually had like three or four stories lined up already, but I’m going to delay those for about a week while I deal with this situation. They’ll still be coming.
Now for the post-game interview.
Her claimed body count: 15.
Age: 23.
Does height matter to her? Not necessarily.
Has she cheated before? Yes.
(I could tell she was probably moving around.)
Actual body count? Who knows.
(Probably higher considering I somehow ended up with chlamydia.)
Final score: Bumble 1, Delvin 0, Chlamydia MVP.
But seriously, just be safe out here, guys. If you’re going to be out here trying to “slay,” catching something is very real. I’m not going to sit here and pretend I was making the safest decisions either. I was being a degen and taking unnecessary risks, and this is what happens.
Get tested, use protection, and if something seems off, don’t ignore it.
Because nothing will humble a Slay Log faster than having to put the entire operation on pause because your body decided to send you a notification.
