If you want to achieve maximum recovery from lifting weights or need to lose weight, sleep is key. Lack of sleep causes ghrelin and leptin to be thrown out of balance causing weight gain. 8-10 Hours of sleep is ideal and is probably the first looksmax you should do.

10 is crazy. 8-9 is probably the more ideal range

why is 10 bad
Pretty abnormal to sleep that long. I was only getting those hours back when I was on Mirtazapine and also after my concussion. You also have way less time throughout the day with those kinda hours.

In your case it's not a big deal tho because you only do it on the weekends. I assume it's to catch up for some missed sleep during the weekdays

Just sleep with no alarm allow your body to complete a sleep cycle naturally

If you’re sleeping more than 8-9 hours, you probably have clinical depression, some legitimate mental illness, or have sleep apnea

Bullshit. 10 hrs is based and good. Only privledged high iq humans sleep 10 hrs amd their waking hours are way more productive
