I never thought I did either. But in 2011 after spending almost 3 years in my first comfortable apartment I realized I was going anywhere I said fuck it. I'm flying to Beijing and I'll either sink or swim. Only a highschool diploma.

You'll find out you're way more capable than you thought, and there are way more opportunities than you could have imagined, when you've got no choice but to sink or swim.

The most dangerous thing is not ending up on tge streets. It's letting your life pass you by without ever doing anything because you were safe and comfortable.

After 7 days homeless I found a place that would hire me to work like a dog. Took me three months of working there for basically a mat to sleep on and table scraps, until I made the right connections and was able to land a gig at a scam center so could finally afford an apartment and a motorbike. Three months after that and I finally was able to afford a ticket back to China and reclaim my life.
