I usually only get it sometimes. When I do, it’s when I wake up from a nap. My eyes are always closed. I can briefly wiggle my toes. The paralysis only lasts a couple of seconds. Imagine being stuck in your own body, unable to move for minutes or even HOURS. The keys is to not fight it and accept it. Then you’ll feel fuzzy all over. It is then you will be able to move

I don’t think I’ve ever had an intentional lucid dream. I want to, but I’ve been hesitate because some sus stuff could go down and it would be unpleasant. Sus as in scary idk

Op did you experience high level of anexity before you had your sleep paralysis.

When never I had high level of anexity I would get them. Sometimes it's crazy like 3 times a week. :feelsgiga:

I've been fighting with it for 20 years.

The shittiest scariest experience ever. When I got it the first time I literally thought I am dead and that's what afterlife looks like.

I don’t think high level anxiety maybe just general malaise or annoyance at worse

Could you tel me what happened for educational purposes, only if you are comfortable retelling

@quakociaptockh any hallucinations or anything like that

Did you ever hear sounds, like laughs or you felt like there are shadows around you, while being paralyzed?

Sometimes when I have my sleep paralysis I would hear people laughing, like creepy laughing, and I would feel like there are many people around me whispering. I don't have any hardcore mental illness, just anexity.

Yes, I see people coming into my bedroom and staring at me, I see dead people like my grandpa, I had succubi, I had the Mare, and more shit like that. I also have some non-personal hallucinations, one remarkable is like someone was walking with a yellow flashlight and shining here and there (I call it the "Topaz" after some author who described a similar thing in a book).

I also learned to lucid dream (totally different thing than sleep paralysis) and OOBE / astral projection (totally different than 2 above).

One side effect of those experiences is that I'm insanely stoic and even if a dinosaur popped up in front of my face I wouldn't be scared.

Imagine if we die we are conscious like that forever but unable to speak or more, and we are buried forever like that :dafuckfeels:

Did you see the movie "Insidious"? Some scenes are pretty accurate, however it's not a good horror. Too comedic and too much spiritism / ghostbusters shit stuffed in.

One prety good scene:

Start from 1:09. It looks totally like that, except the "visitors" rarely are that openly hostile.

I did, but I don't talk to anyone jfl.

First, I don't want to have anything to do with daemons. Some looked totally like daemons (horned devils), some looked like humans or human-animal hybrids, but you never know.

Second, I'm an introvert on the territory of social anxiety and I don't talk with strangers. Social anxiety extends to astral plane jfl. You don't want to talk with spirits just like you don't want to talk with people on the street. Srsly jfl, but it's true.

I believe that OOBE / astral projection is at least parially real. It's not just a hallucination and at there is at least certain degree of paranormal experience in it. I didn't choose to be like that. If I was living in Siberia 5000 year ago I would be a shaman.

NIGHTMARE

Fall deeper. Resist your instinct to wake up. Don't reject it, let it take you.

It's kinda like trying to float on the water. Your instinct tells you to stand up, but it will only make you start drowning. Lay on your back still. The feeling that you have to let go the fear is totally similar.

Don't try to move your physical body. You will either panic or really move and wake up. Try to move your astral body. It's more like thinking about moving than moving itself, however after a while it will feel like normal moving, as if you were awake. Some help visualizations, like imagine there is a rope hanging from the ceiling and try to climb on it.

Don't panic if you get ejected violently, like from a catapult and don't panic if your body folds or limbs get displaced. You don't have bones here. You will usually get "reset" after few seconds and you can start again.

You might hear a deafening sound, like a buzz or like a machine thumping. It's most similar to tinnitus, but loud assfuck. The source of this sound is probably theta waves, which you don't have normally when you're awake.

Listen to this song:

The effect in the beginning (first 15s) is the most accurate recreation of this "sound" I ever found. Maybe those dudes had OOBE or they induced it with drugs.

Finally, just before the OOBE starts you have to stop breathing. It's the hardest part. Instinctively you want to hold air, because you feel like suffocating. Instead you must exhale and stop breathing while the air is out. Don't worry, as the automatic parts of the brain will take control; that's how you breathe in the sleep after all. Many times I got to that point and I freaked out.

You have to distinguish between lucid dream and OOBE. Lucid dream is just a dream and everything is... too easy. When you think of something, you get it (or not if you have a subconscious conflict). In contrast, astral plane is a real world and there is a certain degree of "resistance". You don't get everything automatically as you think it, or you are able to think and do things separately. In a dream thoughts and actions are the same, in astral plane you can do sth and think of sth else, like in the real world.

The experience in astral plane is sometimes difficult to interpret, as you can see more dimensions, you can see in all directions at once and the time can flow in unexpected ways. Experts recommend not to focus on distractions but just look what you have in front of your nose, then it will look most "real". I was able to see many dimensions and I experience some cool time dilations. When I remember that picture I can imagine it, but I can't draw it on the paper, as certain objects show in the same place despite they didn't when I was seeing it. That's why I think it was multi-dimensional.

Many experiences of astral travelers are similar and many different people see the same things in astral plane, that's why I think it's something real. For instance: trees are crazy neon green and there are very tall, like a tree is growing on top of another. Things might be bigger or smaller than in reality, you may also think that you are very big or very small. Some things look like they're far away, yet you are able to reach them by hand. Sometimes when you go somewhere you're not progressing, like walking in place (think of Alice in Wonderland).
Sometimes pictures look like a scattered view from a broken mirror. Sometimes you are in 2 places at once, like you were controlling 2 avatars.
Consequences do not always follow actions, or might be in wrong order. For instance: the light lights up, and then you press the switch. However you know that the light was caused by pressing the switch, only the time flows backwards, at least from the waking perspective because in astral plane this feels somewhat natural.

You can still experience hallucinations even in astral plane and some things there are not real, especially your fears.

Some folks say that you always have a guardian to guide you through the astral plane, but I rejected all offers. Some really looked like offers to become my "master" if you know what I mean.

Fuck, I wonder what it's like to be normal.

so you think its real or just part of the dream ?

I believe OOBE is at least parially real. Some things are a creation of your mind, but there is also some real paranormal experience.

Damn, I have a proof.

So I was lying in my bed and I felt I'm in that state to walk. I opened my eyes and I saw a very blurry picture of my room. I thought that I failed because I opened my physical eyes, but later I realized that it was bright outside when in reality it was night. So I was laying on my bed with my (astral) eyes open and I could see the greyish light outside of the window, exactly as you'd expect on a cloudy day. There were even branches of the tree moving outside.

So I raised my (astral) hand and I placed it in front of my face. It was stretched horizontally, the fingers were extremely long. I didn't see the colors, more like it was only the shadow of my hand on the background of the bright window. I saw only 4 fingers, the thumb was outside of my view.

Good. So I had it enough and I woke up.
First thing: I realized it was dark, so the light outside was not real and it was part of the vision.
Second thing: I couldn't see the branches of the tree from the perspective of my bed, you have to stare out of the window to see it.
Then I put the lamp on and...

I could still see the after-image of my hand!

Literally like you were looking at something bright. I blinked my eyes for good 30s, because I couldn't believe.

So the vision of my hand in OOBE caused a physical after-image when I woke up. Something literally activated cells in my retina. I believe if I was examined in that moment somehow it could be proven that some cells in my retina are exhausted from viewing a bright object.

I could clearly fucking see an elongated hand with 4 fingers, exactly as in OOBE 20 seconds before. The OOBE caused a physical metabolic effect on my eyes.
As far as I know, retina is not able to produce such elaborate hallucinations in a shape of a hand. Also, there is no reverse pathway from visual cortex to retina. (I believe hallucinations originate in visual cortex.) The only explanation is that something caused a real physical effect on my eyes.

Ok, now tell me how to induce sleep paralysis. I get it few times but its very random, mostly when i have been sleep deprived before or if it was a very stressful day, or if i change my sleep schedule

Raise temperature to above 25 degrees.
Sleep on the back.
Count from 100 downwards. Usually the paralysis happens around 70. If you went down below 40, it's not gonna happen.

Pure Satanic. Astral Projection will open you to curses. Also, the world you see when you leave your body is not real. It's like a circus tent is draped over everything hiding what's really underneath. You only see what the demons want you to see when you're in that world/plane of existence. They control everything in it.

these creatures that you see
how do they look like ?

and If I get a little horny a cute demon succubus appears and sucky sucky me until I wake up from the pleasure.

Never ever had it.
How to experience it ?

Had it happen 3x in my life at roughly 18 yrs old within months of one another. Mine was never a demon sitting on ur chest or anything like that, it was always a home intruder

As a pretense I had been watching a lot of ufc at the time and Khabib was in was in the limelight so lived rent free in my head and the closet near my bed apparantly.
ufc 209 GIF

Chilling fucking experience, guy that looked similar to him but hooded so face was dark, could see the beard. Opened the closet door slowly as it creaked, walked up to my bed from the side, stared at me for a couple minutes while paralyzed, looking up in fear of what he'd do, then he began strangling me.

Rememberly distinctly trying to scream out my brothers name over and over again. Thought I was dead tbh, eventually I woke and wasnt even sleeping in the same part of the room as I'd pictured in the nightmare. Layed on my side for 30 minutes with my phones torch blaring at that closet. Woke my brother and he recalled the next day that I made noise (me calling out his name) but it sounded like something a retard would make.

Almost happened again the other night but in the dream I was munching on a burger while laying on my side facing the wall. Could feel a dark presence getting closer. But my dad came home, loud noise woke me so I was chillin. Dont like talking about this tbh, makes it feel like it's more likely to happen after acknowledgement

Tldr; Khabib lives rent free

Makes sense that it was home intruder grew up 14-18 paranoid about my mom's crazy ex husband breaking in and going ER on us. Same guy chained a women up for a month in a garage, threw 2x4s through his 1st wife's window nearly hitting and killing his own son, fucked his gfs underage daughter and tried to suffocate my mother with a pillow.

I had sleep paralysis a few times and think I saw shadow demons. Weird thing is I did shrooms and saw similar beings they may be connected.

Raise temperature to above 25 degrees.
Sleep on the back.
Count from 100 downwards. Usually the paralysis happens around 70. If you went down below 40, it's not gonna happen.
