Sleep study to test for apnoea, worth it?

Has anyone received testing for this condition? I've been considering, but an overnight hospital study costs about £350-500, depending on the consultant and hospital. The at-home ones are inaccurate and barely study anything. Wasted £200 on it overnight, and woke up too early for the data to be collected, and the company refuses to refund me or let me test again, jfl.

if you really believe you have apnea, i would say getting it tested and being sure about it is a great move for functionality and long term health causes.

If I do have it, it would likely be resulting from my dental crowding and underbite. lmfao at my genes.

having it on paper could help you with your further surgical decisions aswell. imo you should get tested for it. its pretty irritating though, the machines,cables all that stuff.

Yeah, the apnea can causes more probability of a stroke and even death, it makes the jaw worse because it's probably that you breath through the mouth, just do it bro, save your life and your looks

i have. if you have any quesitons spesifically about it you can ask me. but in general i can tell you that the discomfort is worth it for the info you are getting.
