I've had problems with sleeping ever since lockdown (primary school for me). At one point it got so bad I wasn't sleeping for days on end (secondary school). That's when it got really bad. My friends and family started noticing I wasn't sleeping very much, family commented on it a lot and friends mostly just joked around about it, in which i did back, but i still knew it was bad.

It started affecting my attendance in year 8 and 9 (I'm in year 10 now) and it still kind of does. I got melatonin to help with it and my sleep as sort of gotten better but not as much, i do sleep more now but i still miss days of school. I just dont wanna end up taking a medication for the rest of my life to sleep.

Just need abit of help with what I should do if anyone has any tips or recommendations on what to do apart from telling me some bs like sleep diary or something, that'd be helpful thanks.

regular exercise and getting many steps in will help to tire out ur body, maybe a bedtime routine without any screens for an hour or so, night filter on ur pc/phone could maybe help might be cope but try not to doomscroll in bed before you try to sleep
