Try see if its comfortable the main argument people have against sleeping on your side is the fact that your bones get weaker as constant and normalised pressure is applied on one area which is true your bones do get weaker so that is an argument but then again there are not studies saying that sleeping has enough force to actually do that as it depends on a few things really your pillow your mattress body weight sleeping position time etc.

sleeping on your back does help with asymmetry because it’s not putting pressure on one side of your face like if you were sleeping on your side. your weight is evenly distributed which can alleviate neck and back pain. it keeps your face away from your pillow which can cause acne cuz some of y’all mfs don’t wash your pillow cases. there’s many benefits to sleeping on your back and most certainly isn’t cope its not like you’re gonna see anything major but it definitely improves quality of life

Do you think switching sides every night is optimal too? i’ve heard some negatives of sleeping on you’re back are improper tongue posture and during puberty it can disrupt height growth. Although im not fully sure if that is true

the less facial compression the better. you can switch sides if you want, but it won’t offer the same effect if you were to just sleep on your back. the entire thing about disrupting your height growth during puberty is a myth complete bs. improper tongue posture can happen regardless if you’re sleeping on your back or not. it’s just not recommended to sleep on your back if you suffer with sleep apnea

It just doesn’t make you soft tissue assymetrical. It won’t necessarily make you more symmetrical it will just stop the process:FeelsPepoMan:
