This August I'm going to get 2.5ml Radiesse for chin & jaw to try and patch up my subhuman lower third. Realistically prolly lasts 10 months at most, then I need a permanent solution. Basically, I need to sell my shit car to make some money, and then later pull an additional 5K out of thin air for a sliding genioplasty. I will be 19 next summer. Recovery time for that operation will be about 4 months. I have to hope that 2,5mo will be enough for the swelling to go down to acceptable limits. I already have a nasty scar on my left cheek but my foid friend taught me how to hide it with concealer, so the scar from the incision for the operation should be solvable. Surgery itself needs to be conducted overseas & clandestinely (I'm thinking Spain but still need to do some research on that), without parents finding out.

So practical issues will be tough but I think solvable. My rotting skill is approaching legendary status, so I can easily hide away in my apartment for a month or two without my parents or friends noticing.

But then comes the medical aspect. If my mandible decides to grow out of fucking nowhere (I was a late bloomer, I looked like a 12 year old until last year pretty much) then shit's gonna be fucked, correct? Because the screws to hold the sawed off piece of bone in place will be subjected to shearing forces which could cause permanent deformation of the bone, I think. Is there any way to know much growth there's left in your mandible? In terms of height I've grown like barely an inch since 15 so that tells me no, but I'm not sure.

listen, 20's are ur prime years to literally just fuck and have fun partying and stuff, so its worth it.

Good call, maybe look into eastern europe.Procedures here are a lot cheaper and you're not gonna get fucked over, like in asia.

I dunno what Carecredit is but it sounds like a good way to get fucked in the ass by your debt collector. I'm from a Nerdic country, I'll leave it at that.

But dude, for real now. I have the same problem as you. A recessed chin. And im planning on getting a genio at 18 years old. Im worrying about the same things. But you're wrong about the recovery time. It doesn't take that long. I've read everywhere that in two weeks the major swelling is gone. And in just ONE week although considerably swelled up you will be able to return to work and/or school activities. So its pretty chill

I used care credit for my LASIK and paid the $3,600 bill over 12 months with no interest. I was 21 at the time. Worked fine for me.

Well I'm absolutely gonna get some procedure done to fix it, only question is which one and when.

With chin augmentation it really seems like a matter of picking your poison. Fillers don't last long, implants can get infected and cause bone erosion, and genio can cause nerve damage, and as I mentioned, possible damage to the bone itself.

I've been tryna do some rudimentary cost-benefit analysis, and with the prices I've been looking at, a genio will take about 8 years to pay for itself compared to filler. A decent custom implant, a little over half that. And if I don't do anything my chronic subhumanity would probably make me rope long before 8yrs have gone by.

Genio doesn't need recovery.
And no, your lower third stopped growing.
I've done double jaw surgery+genio at 20.

Genio doesn't need recovery.

Spoken like a true disciple of St. Eppley. I guess it's sort of true given that it's an osteotomy and not a soft tissue thing that needs to "settle in" but it's still pretty hardcore I think.

If you didn't have overbite (or whatever they were fixing with the BSSO), do you think you would have considered implants instead? To my understanding bluepilled surgeons will do implants, but not genio to patients under 20-22 unless their chin is severely recessed.

nigga get whatever the fuck u want ur bones stop growing after puberty, >18 ur good

No, fixing retruded chin with an implant is cope.

isn't 5k for a genio a bit much? and from what I've read online it also should take less than 4 months for recovery, 2-3 weeks is what I've read and patients returning to work after 10 days or so

nice gaybestfriendmaxing

JFL that feel when you lurk on lookism forums so much that you start appending -maxx to the end of every word IRL and telling people to "stop coping" and calling them buddy boyo

Fuaaaark, I had a chance with that girl, we made out at a party once but I ruined it when I asked her for advice on how to fuck her best friend (who won't answer my texts anymore after I got drunk and snapped at her)

No, fixing retruded chin with an implant is cope.
According to PSL anything less than LeFort 3000 and bonesmashing your infraorbital rims with a 15lb sledgehammer is cope. Implants can actually give more fwd growth (I only need like 4 or 5mm) but the biggest concern is it looking cheap and unnatural, that's why I'd still prefer genio.

Responses here seem encouraging tho, apparently recovery time is not as long as I thought. I think that settles the debate, just need to remember to buy a nice scarf to cover my swollen face when the time comes.

Do whatever you want.
