Sliding genio before DJS?

Here all the DJS surgeons don’t do sliding genioplasty.
I was thinking doing genio before DJS

First week I was in pain and extremely weak. Couldn’t drive or stand up for periods of time.

First 2 weeks or so my face was swollen and I couldn’t talk fully.

3 years later I have permanent numbness near my lip, not a big deal tbh. I don’t mind it
