You'll see she moves to pretend like she is wiping tears away from her eyes off camera, when really she is grabbing something to wet her eyes with. When she comes back we now see the water frauding as tears.
This is what you call a classic publicity stunt. Like when two fitness YouTubers who are in a relationship pretend to break-up and everyone becomes invested in the storyline, their views increase and then once that's dropped-down, they pretend they're getting back together, for a further spike increase in views.
