I’m curious, anyone here who has smile lines/creases and folds (or any indication of lower collagen production for that matter), how is/has your sleep been? I have issues with smile lines/creases in my face that I have had for a long time now, and I have always had trouble with sleep (even as a baby). My creases have also appeared to worsen from recently starting vyvanse (which would obviously affect my sleep). I suspect most cases of facial creases/folds are due to prolonged, poor sleeping habits, which would make sense because collagen is heavily effected by sleep. Anyway, just curious is anyone else has a similar experience

my collagen production looks like shit (smile lines, very bad skin in general and itachi lines) and ive always had on average 3 to 6 hours of sleep my entire life. (not an doubt on why i developed ghd)
ofc i have all these prerequisites for having these lines such as recessed maxilla and shit, but still my sleep always been shit and also my collagen, maybe it makes sense.

Check your nasal airway it does heavily contribute but you can fix these via tretinoin or tazarotene for smile lines modestly though

how would nasal airways affect collagen? or are you meaning that nasal airways affect sleep that in order affects collagen production?

Yes I mean it as in if nasal obstruction is prominent as a child it can cause bad development higher cortisol means less collagen I’ve had the same problem although it’s annoying to get septoplasty ent told me to use nasal tape to help here you can try it cheap to try anyways

smile lines aren't only caused by low collagen production they are also caused by the repetitive movement of facial muscles. Its not cause you have them that its instantly linked to low collagen production
