Yes, if you're below 5'8" barefoot it's over for you, 5'8" itself isn't a good height and putting that height anywhere is social suicide, 5'10" just sounds alot better

5'8" is the cutoff for not being noticeably short. It's low-average but face and body frame can make up for it. You'll be somewhat limited to average/below average height girls, but that's fine imo. Also you should be gymmaxxed at that height so women still feel protected and other guys will be more respectful

I guess it matter where you live but in my country 175cm/5'9 is clear cut manlet height and a significant failo. Maybe not in the US but since i dont live there i couldnt tell you
