I added this girl on quickadd around a month ago at the gym. It was on a whim honestly, I almost didn't click add because I normally don't get much luck from snap. When I woke up after I went to sleep, she had added me back. We start talking and we are really hitting it off there is some chemistry here. She was extraordinarily beautiful. Blonde, blue eyes, funny, and super sweet. We talked for a while and eventually planned to see each other when she got back from the beach. She even told me my height didn't matter to her and she still liked me. One day I noticed a guy I knew was commenting on her TikTok posts, but she wasn't liking the comment or responding so I thought nothing of it. A couple days later, she posted a picture of her in the hospital and the guy standing beside her. She told me everything that happened but she never mentioned this guy, I probably should have caught on at this point.
As days went by, she became drier and drier. I eventually put the pieces together. I saw her initials in his bio and texted her if she had gotten a boyfriend. She replied "no" and subsequently blocked me on everything. She had been using me for attention for weeks. Here is the worst part. The guy is almost a foot taller than me. I don't know if it counts as cheating, but they were very obviously dating at the same time we were in a talking stage. And no, I was not in the friend-zone. She said she wanted to kiss me and do all sorts of romantic things together.
I am not mad about it, just disappointed. We had lots of meaningful conversations, and shared really personal things about ourselves. I think this is when I realized no matter how much work you put into yourself, how much more attractive you become, none of it will ever matter if you are short. I have more stories like this if you guys are interested.
