Hi

i (30 years) have a weak chin, nothing too extreme, but i want to change it anyway. I also think my chin became a little bit weaker in the last years. So instead of a surgery, i am thinking about getting a snoring splint during sleep. With the snoring splint, my maxilla will ne pushed a little bit forward while i am sleeping and my tongue will stay at the right place, basically like mewing during night time. Maybe i will also wear it during the day. The cost ist about 1000€, not cheap but a a lot cheaper than surgery.

Like i said, my weak chin is okay, i don't need surgery and i am okay to see very slow progress in some years. For me it's more important to know i am doing progress in the right direction instead of knowing my sleep worseness my weak chin.

What so you think about this plan?

your bones are fused. mewing does nto work. there is no evidence for it.

it will not. work. your bone structure will remain unchanged.

if you do not want to pay for jaw surgery, you could consider getting implants.

Get a genioplasty if your chin is weak
