In this study, it had a 48% quit rate vs the placebo group, which had 17%

If u take a look at this, from what I understand, is that it partially blocks the dopamine u get from smoking

It works by binding to the α4β2 receptor with a higher affinity than nicotine

I would advise u to use the same dosage that was used in the study ( 1mg twice daily), then titrate up if needed

keep in mind, this study was made on cigarettes, but snus is very similar since they both deliver nicotine. The only difference is that the nicotine that is absorbed from snus goes through the oral mucosa

I'm not sure whether the dosage for cigarettes and snus is the same, but I'd advise u to just stick to the dosage used in the study, then make changes if needed
