So conflicted, need opinions

Sometimes people compliment me saying I look good and got hella potential and shit (I am fat currently) but sometimes people say shit like, "you look like a monster" or "your face is funny". Ironically, it all comes from sub 5 (sub MTN) dudes and I am pretty sure I mog them by a long shot. Like I have a dude in my class who thinks he mogs me but when I ask my classmate he says I mog him. Could it be because of my fucked up teeth? (yellowish+crooked+abnormal eruption) But the thing is then, why would some people say I look good and shit? I go to an all boys school and just spend time at home all day so I can't even confirm if I look sub 5 or MTN. What do you think?
