So genioplasty always mogs chin implants?

My chin is good from front but not projected enough from the side. To deal with this, a genioplasty should be done? Chin implants should always be avoided correct?

The majority of the time yes, the actual chin point isn't usually the issue but the front of the mandible as a whole.

I've also read some stuff along the lines of the skin stretching more with genio than with an implant, therefore improving the submental part of the face as well. Any truth to it?
I doubt it. Her entire mandible improved.

When you have a longer mandible it pulls the loose skin forward. 99% sure this is just a genioplasty.

Genio you also dont have to worry about bone absorption, which can be an issue over time with implants.
