Never heard of CC cream but I tried BB cream a very few times and noticed how it tuns the skin shiny so one notices immediately you are wearing makeup.
If you have discolorings such as dark circles under eyes or red acne, you should look into something else like foundation cream and concealers
otherwise I see no reasons to wear this makeup

CC stands for color corrector, basically the same thing as concealer, they are often used interchangeably, e.g. there are color correctors marketed to hide dark circles , which are practically the same as under eye concealers

All types of makeup can have shine, as a guy regardless of the type you should go for products that have zero shine on their packing (or very often zéro brillance, as many cosmetics are French)

BB cream provides the lightest coverage, concealer middle and foundation is the heaviest, I would recommend the last one only if your natural skin quality is really visually unappealing. For most guys if the have a solid skincare routine, BB cream should be more tha enough to provide a homogenous skin surface without it being noticeable.

What should I use to cover pink blemishes/scars, brah? The cc or bb? I use the Maybelline Eraser Concealer. It's cheap though even the closest shade doesn't quite match and irritates the scar tissue underneath (anything weird on my skin like moles/warts/hard fat I burn out or cut off).
