So my maxilla is the cause for my thin lips

Well I took the plunge and finally saw a plastic surgeon today who specializes in lip lifts so in terms of fixing a bad mouth area he's definitely the best possible option I could have went for in my state. So I go in for the consultation, and when he examines my mouth he basically tells me that my MAXILLA of all things is the fucking root cause of my lip issues as it protrudes too much causing my upper lip to essentially flip inwards. He then tells me that I might be a candidate for a maxillary setback, but gives me a reference to another surgeon in the building who specializes in craniofacial surgery. I was told by him that both fillers AND lip lifts couldn't save me as the fillers would just jut my upper lip forward like a retarded duck while a lip lift wouldn't be good enough. The underlying cause is that fucking serious. Also before anyone asks YES my teeth are absolutely fucked due to crowding so I would need to get braces done first before any surgery takes place which to my dismay involves removing teeth. I might even end up needing to get fucking bimax like Jesus Christ man this shit is soulcrushing.

Yeah I figured maybe bimax would be more appropriate considering my teeth are crowded asf. Either that or palate expansion.

MSE is an extremely common procedure what are you on about ?
Past puberty you need to break the mid-palatal suture (while during puberty you don't need to do that).
