Could be a measurement error as well, I would try measuring again. I would also measure eye level if I were you. A 173cm 5’8 guy usually has an eye level between 159.5 to 172 cm, a 176.5cm 5’9.5 guy usually has 163 to 165.5 cm eye level. Depending on forehead size. Find a flat and straight floor and wall, and use something to put on your head against the wall and make a mark. Also, measuring with your back can also make you a bit shorter since it’s harder to stand straight with a wall against you
