How do yall overcome social anxiety ive been barely going outside besides gym and college for the past few years which has caused me to completely lose self confidence and get extreme social anxiety

What helped me is trying to go out to eat by myself or go buy something and talk to the cashiers I lost my stutter pretty much

Yeah the stutter is the crazy part lowkey sometimes i be at the gym and i try to ask someone for a spot or smth like that i need to like think about what im gonna say for like 10 minutes before i come up to them and ask them 😭😭

if u jacked enough u shouldnt even stutter, what are u afraid of lol

Even worse when someone comes up to you and asks how many sets u have I genuinely go non verbal

Idk i just overthink stuff so much like i get so awkward sometimes i might make people uncomfortable

Haha same they be catching me lacking i get frustrated and i lose counts of how many sets i have done XD

that is pure hearted of you, but you need to realise it isnt that serious, as it was said in the ‘overcome anxiety’ people forget about it in a day, people forget how you spoke to them after a day, no one really cares how you speak to them, however it defines how they see you, speak to them and dont be afraid

Yeah ots like years of self isolation that caused this but im lowkey solo traveling this summer to try overcome this problem ty for the advice i deeply appreciate it
