Disorder Theory
the real reason the average person wont become intelligent is because of social disorder
there are more ways of disorder in society then order, to get people higher iq you must put more effort in certain people and make things worse for people in another area, doing this increases iq of those people but strongly decreases others or takes up other things like any time they have
societies naturally fall apart over time, the only way to prevent this is moving it elsewhere, or using technology which delays the societies fall, but when it does it falls hard to make up for all the delayed time
high status people avoid interaction with low status people usually to prevent being "infected" in a way and becoming low status aswell, but even then that just makes low status people even more low status, no matter what this creates gaps and creates disorder splitting the average person, making him polarized, aggressive, or just dumb and a little evil
because of this, the normal person can never become incredibly smart because then it will cheat the system, a crash must happen
How do I avoid this?
the only way to avoid this is, cheating the system isn't allowed, but the system is an average, if you are a lone person, you do not really cheat the system since other people are still creating chaos for the society, if you never interact with others then you can still exist in order, never interacting is impossible (unless you move out to a far place, and become self-autonomous and prevent people from getting close to you, even this will be impossible in the future),
so the most we can do for now is either A; get away from society into a self-sufficient bunker, either stay alone or in small groups with high quality people (better since you can go for longer, reproduce, etc away from society, no matter what though eventually the lineage will have someone of low iq and low quality though who will then spread low quality throughout your group, getting rid of this person would be immoral aswell since they are low quality for no fault of their own), B: Minimize all social, economic, and political interaction with other people while still living in society, these small interactions will occasionally have low iq people but this does at least get some of the benefits of society still, even if the negatives still affect you.
the largest risk to the escape i said is just if society finds you again (nuclear war, some agents go out in the woods and find ur bunker and force taxes, people from society finding it and even if they don't report it they exchange ideas of usually low quality with either you or someone in your group etc)
Also, halo effect will benefit you in society so if you arr attractive and high status etc, the second option has less risk behind it and higher reward, otherwise the first option really is the best choice, leave behind the low quality people in society to decay while you enjoy your bunker.
