When people say they used to be ugly and they have now become GL..are they implying that they have gotten plastic surgeries ? I don't get it. If you are ugly you'll remain it for life. Probably you guys just mean by "ugly" not showering, not getting haircuts, poor fashion styles and being fat. Not being recessed and having a complete shit bone structure.

Yes this is what I'm thinking. Those people were never ugly to begin with, just not maintained as far as their hygiene, weight, skin,etc..

Yeah as a young kid I was kind of chubby and had bad teeth from thumb sucking But I got braces that fixed the teeth and puberty became lean, that's why I stressed the thing about getting to average. Also a lot of people just look like trash before puberty.

Brutal tbh. The friend turn-over for some uglier people is insanely low. Good looking people can cycle through friendship groups and make new friendship groups in a matter of days/weeks.

Ugly people/social rejects can take years to develop friends apart from those they already have.
Most accurate thing I have read so far,
There is so much freedom when you are gl
I have a gl friend and he is always off doing whatever he wants without care for friends and there will always be people texting/socialising with him
I remember he travellled overseas and apparently he made friends really quickly and they gave him free accomation for 2 weeks in their rental home whilst he was travelling

What looksmax did you do for things to improve so drastically ?

What looksmax did you do for things to improve so drastically ?

ill list them by importance:
1. gymcelling
2. contact lenses
3. skin care / tan (cleanser, moisturizer, suncreme, sun bathing, beta carotene, astaxathin)
4. fashionmaxed
5. got a haircut that fits my skull/face shape the most
6. had septum deviation so got my nose fixed with surgery (minimal difference but looks less grooked)
7. eyebrow serum and castor oil on eyebrows

Can you send a photo when you are wearing the lenses

You can only looksmax so much.

A truecel could just about reach low tier normie status for example, no way is he ever going to be deemed above average.

Ofcourse they were ugly. Having acne or being fat is one of the easiest ways to be ugly.

Hygiene, weight, skin is often just a resemblance of the way your parents raised you. For example me:

-Raised in poverty and told that fashion is a waste of money and shallow. Result: I wore old used ugly clothes that never fit me properly.
-Both parents were obese and always pushed me to eat more (unhealthy) food. Result: I was fat.
-Never had a proper haircut because I was told self-care is a waste of money and shallow and I should just get easy buzzcut.

Going against my parents in any of this would lead to them sabotaging me.

Yes having your looks get you things automatically is great, but having zero shot at things in life because of your appearance is exponentially worse. If i could take looking average or a 50/50 chance of ugly or good looking I would take average in a heartbeat. The life of an ugly person is brutal. As a normie you can be popular, get into top frat in college, get through life and advance in career with merit etc, and yes get laid and have a gf. Being sub par physically is a death sentence and you are essentially living with a legitimate disability in terms of going through life with a normal ease

Also this so much. Going from ugly to average is a ridiculous difference. You finally have a chance at life.

My personal experience: When I was ugly I tried all kinds of different hobbies, to see what I liked. Like: Kung-Fu, playing in an orchestra with my violin and giving first aid at events.

In all of those situations I was treated like utter shit, bullied, and rejected by my peers. They never wanted to hangout afterwards and would always bad-talk me behind my back. In the end social acceptance is just as important as liking the hobby itself, so I quit several activities that I really liked doing, simply because I wasn't welcome socially there. Even when I did get friends there, they would backstab me when they had a chance to interact with those better looking than me.

You end up playing videogames, one of the few places where your looks don't matter.

I was 17 in the most left picture, but in my childhood I was much uglier than that even.

11yo here (life was brutal)

Most interesting is that even adults: teachers, parents, etc. would treat me like utter shit at this age. I never had the benefit of the doubt and would often be singled out for punishment.

Typical example in a classroom: Many people were being noisy other than me and the teacher would get mad at the class in general. Not single out these people for punishment but just start shouting at the whole class.
Then if I was noisy in such a situation, the teacher would always single me out for punishment instead. 8 people including Syo being noisy? Time to punish Syo.
I've even had a teacher tell me I 'look like a bully so I don't believe you' when I was accused of something I didn't do.

Now: Life is objectively good/easy. But A LOT of damage has been done and I am very poorly adjusted to life. I have deep traumas for the shit that happened to me in the past (suffered from parental child abuse on top of the school bullying).

And it's still not easy to make new friends. As you can see in the picture, the way I look now is very dominant/masculine. I didn't choose this face and neutral face expression, but people seem to be afraid of me and treat me like their enemy. I can smile constantly like some retard to try and make people like me, which I sometimes do, but it still sucks fucking hard.

I hate social interaction and validation now that I know how shallow it is and how I get treated now. But at the same time I crave it, because I am only human.

I agree, but I was clearly below average and that combined with an extroverted personality where I behaved like I was good-looking was a death sentence.

You are supposed to 'know your place' when you are ugly.

Idk people have always called me good looking and have been nice to me even when I was quite fat

But since losing a bunch of weight I’ve been approached in clubs and this pretty blonde chick who works at a coffeeshop I go to stares at me whenever I go there, if that kind of shit counts

Other than that everything’s roughly similar to how it used to be, I’ve never really experienced being disliked (in person, on the internet all the time)

I need 5 surgeries to know
