Social skills are not just for making friends, they are very important for success in work.

I have seen several people fired because they were unlikeable and difficult to be around, let alone work with. Even highly qualified people.

Just goes to show that being chatty is more important that actually doing your godamned work or being a reliable team member.

I’m so afraid to be fired if i’m not more social at work
