I visited people I haven't seen in 2 years, I was fatmaxxed back then, now I'm lean, but instead of compliments I get "Are you poor and can't afford food?", "You look like a skeleton", etc., one even said I should gain 5 kilos. Brutal ngl, I could have bullied them for being chubby/obese, but that would have been seen as evil and insensitive.

It's not the first time I see people having more empathy with fat people over thin people. Thin people have no protection, while fat people are seen as "oppressed" group and therefore jokes are not allowed or you're seen as evil.
