Research finds that Marital Hypergamy has dropped in the past few decades due to Women getting more into education, and even getting more educated than most men.

This is however not a reliable source as it turns out, another big research study reveals the opposite. The reason why the study concluded to a drop in Hypergamy was that they conduct the study by excluding Hypogamy.
When including hypogamous marriages, the results were actually the opposite- Hypergamy in the past few decades today has remain the same if not increased
