very true especially in highschool and growing up in nicer areas when all the “higher-status” friend groups can go on trips and shit when obviously they’re not inviting the low status low income guy unless he’s fully chaded up. I don’t think it’s more important than looks when it comes to elite level but if you are lower on the totem pole looks wise you can still clutch with high income/high status family circle

This is a very classic cope, most people that come from a high socioeconomic background are ambitious and hard working. They attend private schools with intense education, go on to attend the best universities, and eventually get the best jobs. They're also usually decent looking because beautiful women tend to reproduce with high status men.

The issue is that you are not the only guy that makes her wet, there are guys out there who are higher class than you and also make her wet. So being physically attractive stops being enough, she'll feel like she's settling with you because you're not status matched.

It’s not sustainable tbh, but very rarely there will be a girl you’d do anything for just to be with her, even if you know she'll leave you eventually. You just want to spend as much time with her as possible, and to you, it might be worth it.
