Incredibly obvious. Even 1 inch of sock would look ridiculous without shoes on. 3 inches of sock will look weird shoes on or off, but especially without shoes.

Doesn't look too bad from that photo, but they deliberately made the angle so that you can't get a clear look, like these fucking companies always do. In fact every single photo these guys upload of their product is purposely made to be deceptive, just from that I would never buy from them. Either way I wouldn't go beyond 1 inch. Pair that with 1-inch shoe lifts for a 2-inch increase and you can take your shoes off without it being too noticeable. But this assumes the advertised height increase is what you actually get, which I doubt.
