I have been gymmaxxing for the last year and a half consistently, and I recently over the last few months have gotten a much better physique, but facially descended.
I used to be a vocal advocate for gymaxxing even for sub 5s, but after my temporary descension, I have changed my views slightly and decided to explain softmaxxing as a whole in Minecraft terms. Yes ik this is brainrot
If you have never played Minecraft, then why tf did you click on this thread. Im not gonna explain the laws of minecraft so you can just leave now if your not cultured. Now let me explain this in Minecraft terms, spefically the lucky block games and/or just the Hunger Games in general would work well too since you only get loot from chests and cannot just mine for diamonds, etc.
Sword Damage
Your sword is your looks base looks level without softmaxxing. If you get lucky and find a diamond sword your basically set, not much more you could want. You get wood then your kinda fucked.
Wood Sword- Subhuman
Gold Sword- sub 5
Stone Sword- MTN
Iron Sword-HTN
Diamond Sword—Chadlite
Netherite-Chad
Enchanments, Anvils, Levels
Enchantment books are your softmaxes, such as gymaxxing, eyebrowmaxxing, skincare, heightmaxxing.
Levels are your drive and motivation to softmaxx
The Anvil is your softmaxx implementation. Your anvil is broken, you cannot enchant as many things as youd like, you do a bro split well then your phsyqiue will not be as good as it should be.
Example
Now lets say you get a sharpness 5 book which could be having a top tier physique, now you need a high level (drive) to actually get said physique/enchantment. Even still, you must find an anvil that is not busted up so that you can properly apply your enchantments.
Get a bad spawn? Oh well go and try and find a better spot for loot. Everythings been looted and all you have is leftovers? Oh well.. uh yeah its over buddy. Luckly most of you did not get a bad spawn, and do not have bad loot. Everyone here has enchantment books. You can decide for yourself if its worth applying said enchantments onto your sword.

Breaking it down like this shows how much of your looks is just pure luck even with softmaxxing.Have good enough genes to even be able to softmax effectivly, then be lucky enough to find good info like from @Clavicular or @enchanted_elixir, and then have enough drive to apply the info and THEN actaully have the ability to apply the info correctly. So to those of you that have ascended with it, do not beat yourself up. Its actaully very rare for someone like you to exist. Just because you started with a wooden sword and may feel down that you now only have a chance to compete against iron swords after all your enchanting, its still great progress and you should be proud of yourself. I love softmaxxing, its great, but i realize not everyone gets the same rng so i know longer shove it down peoples throats.
