It's good cultivation but the MC powercreeps too fast so I ended up dropping it. I liked how MC went into different dungeons and farmed using IQ and got all those upgrades

My first start to finish anime was cardfight vanguard, it's a shitty ygo ripoff with a faggot MC that just keeps failing and slowly gets stronger bringing in crazy hype when he's up against these OP duelists and you don't know if he's going to win or even how.

That#s probably why HxH is my favourite anime. It's my incel life wrought with failure that causes this.

I think most manwha is a waste of time if you're expecting the hype to go anywhere, the formula just seems to be MC becomes an infallible god then there's random BS sidequests and storylines that go nowhere or exist for MC to mog them into nothing

Dunno how I feel about omniscient readers viewpoint tbh. I think it’s much better than the average Manhwa while also being overrated. There are things I like about it bad things I hate about it

God of highschool is power fantasy. It does not have much of a good story. Especially the last few chapters. Stuff like Omniscient reader's viewpoint or bastard is a good story.

The power fantasy was much more prevalent in the later parts and I’ve already said it had a quality drop as a result.

Before that it genuinely has a decent story with strong primary and secondary characters and action. Even an element of mystery which was good.

Anyway yeah bastard is good.
