1: ONE SIDE MEW
It's the main thing out of all the tips.
How to check: First, check which side of the palate is narrow laterally. Open your mouth, do a normal tongue posture, and see if a specific side of the tongue gets stuck on the teeth. If yes, that’s the narrow side.
Double check: Use your finger to check if the left (or right) palate feels shorter. If yes, it is most likely narrow.
The Method: Make the tongue position in a way so the narrow side gets the pressure. Keep this posture 24/7 like standard mewing.
⚠️ WARNING: The tongue should not thrust on any front or side teeth. It can cause tooth tipping and make the face worse.
2: SLEEPING POSITION
Back Sleeping: You should sleep on your back. That’s all.
Breathing: You must nose breathe 24/7.
⚠️ TIP: If you struggle to nose breathe, try to use mouth tape. If you don't have mouth tape, take a small cloth or blanket, slightly roll it, and put it under the chin to keep the mouth closed.
3: HOW TO KNOW IF PALATE IS EQUAL
Check every week:
Do a normal mewing posture.
Open your mouth.
The Result: If the tongue is sitting on the top of the teeth, it means it didn't expand fully. If the tongue fits properly between the teeth, it means it expanded well.
