You're right. A benevolent dictator is the best option. But there's one major problem with that which makes that form of government totally unfeasible. And that's succession. Mr. Benevolent ain't gonna live forever, and it's only inevitable that a corrupt tyrant will one day sit on the throne.I believe the real problem are not the people or even the president of the state, they have they share of the guilt in many cases, but rather, the problem lies in the lobbys which constantly puts pressure on those people, they have their agenda at the end of the day
I think even the most democratic of states is at the end of the day another dictatorship, the people never has had more power than those rich spheres, now i'm not saying i like democracy, i think it's a waste of time and that a powerful knowledgeable man is better for ruling a country than democracy (I mean come on, in democracy at the end of the day the best political options don't win, the winners are the most eloquent speakers and those who have the most money backing them up), plus, imagine if they had real democracy in USA and the Indiana Hill Billies could vote if they want to wage war against China and Russia hahaha
England is good too, i respect a lot British people because of how they behave and as i said, England is probably the best place of Europe to live and i easier to find a job in England than in other placesIts a certainly better than England tho
Nice to have at least one immigrant that respects the host countryEngland is good too, i respect a lot British people because of how they behave and as i said, England is probably the best place of Europe to live and i easier to find a job in England than in other places
You guys are usually very cold in your behaviour but there is a wisdom behind it
Yes, that's true, there lies the biggest "X Factor", i think first monarchies based systems where the power is inherited by the offspring of the ruler should be erradicated, and i guess that there should be some kind of elite type level of education made specially for those people who want to rule, which can be earned only by very difficult means, not just studying some carrer 4 years and then having a degree and doctorate but something which requires real patience and persistency, but again, easier said than doneYou're right. I don't agree there but seeing how the world works nowadays i understand why you say thatDemocracy will never be perfect, but it's as good as we're ever gonna get. Thinking anything otherwise is either a result of extreme naivety or sheer arrogance.

Props to you too, I'm not in Britain by the wayNice to have at least one immigrant that respects the host country
The Ottoman empire actually did a very good job at what you're talking about. Each prince begotten by the current emperor had their very own mother (harems). In order to ever rule they'd have to eliminate every single one of their half brothers before the time came. This was brutal, but it ensured that every Ottoman ruler was very strong, wise, and fit to rule.Yes, that's true, there lies the biggest "X Factor", i think first monarchies based systems where the power is inherited by the offspring of the ruler should be erradicated, and i guess that there should be some kind of elite type level of education made specially for those people who want to rule, which can be earned only by very difficult means, not just studying some carrer 4 years and then having a degree and doctorate but something which requires real patience and persistency, but again, easier said than done

Pretty bloody, on modern standards that doesn't work like back on the day, they would have to remove from them every bit of military or police power for not letting it be a bloodshed beetwen aspiring rulersThe Ottoman empire actually did a very good job at what you're talking about.
