Internet security is more important now then ever. If you don't want various online identities to be tied together then follow these tips. (Disclaimer the advice given here are the bare minimum tips and it depends on who exactly you want to hide from and how badly they want you)

Email:
For every account you make you should be generating a new email address. I recommend protonmail since they do not require a phone number and its very quick you can make a new email in 30 seconds. Pretty much everything not related to my name or business I will create a new isolated mail account. With phone numbers its tricky I recommend not using services that require a number and if you do assume everything you do with that account is being done with your irl name. If you have some money buying a cheap burner phone is worthwhile.

Passwords:
For every account use a random password generator and do at least 12 characters. I don't recommend manually typing it get an encrypted password manager and copy and paste for every account. Also never reuse passwords data gets leaked all the time. That porn site account you created probably sells the data then a hacker will brute force every account with that leaked password.

For shady sites just using isolated passwords is enough. For important accounts some for of 2 factor authorization is going to be necessary (just keep in mind that your data is public so only do this for banking or a business). And I would recommend changing your password every 2 months.

VPN:
For every site like Looksmax you should be using a VPN or Tor. On shady sites you never know what links people will send out grabbify links ect. I also recommend using a vpn on discord to open links. This is one of the easiest ways to dox someone just sending a grabbify link.

Disclosing specific information:
If you disclose your occupation and the general region you live you pretty much have created a narrowed down profile of who you are. On twitter many anonymous accounts over the years get doxxed because they go through years of tweets and can create a very accurate idea of who you are. So be vague to people you distrust online. Only reveal data that is necessary think of anything beyond this as a liability. I would even recommend creating fake data every now and then. Lets say you are 19 lie and say you are 22. Strategic misinformation can be very helpful in diverting detective work.

Conclusion/ending notes
When it comes to cyber security no one will ever be safe. But what you can do is not be low hanging fruit. Most of these attacks are done against a boomer who uses a 10 digit password for every one of his accounts and has used the same email for a decade. What you need to do is make it so that you are not worthwhile.

This guide should be helpful for normie internet users for a more in depth guide check out my dark web guide this guide should be considered the bare minimum for normal internet use.
