I keep running into these stories and it hits the same way every time like this mofoker has every reason to fail and quit how tf did it all have align for him. The perfect storm of things for him to succeed and reach his goals. It is almost as if if the entire universe helped him. Some people are just unstoppable. You could drop them into the worst possible circumstances. and they would still find a way through with a combination of extreme luck, sheer hard work and dedication.

You could throw them in the middle of the desert in Afghanistan and they would come out of it like a lotus in the dirt. Like these niggas had the same and more reasons to disappear. And somehow they still bloomed. I don’t know what to call that. It's like god had decided that this nigga is going to rise. It was written in their stars. It was in their fate.

Real, man. I have a close friend that seems to have God in his back pocket at all times.

Not that life gave him every reason to quit, though. But being born well-off gave him the inhibition to not care about anything.

Yet when he skipped classes plenty of times, show up to work baked out of his mind. He'd somehow always make it out on the other side. And yes, when the time came to lock in, he'd put in a bit of work. However, he was still lucky to even arrive at the end in first place.

I think my friend encapsulates this pretty well. No offence to him; he's the bro. But if he wasn't born into a position of comfort (money + height).

I don't think all the times he tested his fate would've paid off well if he was some broke nigga!
