I agree with you "SOME" people look better pale.
But on average being tan looks better than being pale.
I'm not hating on being pale I just tell people to get tan because on average a person looks better with a tan because it signals a healthy lifestyle.

i looked better tanned from carrotenoids when my face was less lean and my brow hair was less dark now i look good pale high contrast. north atlantid but chase crawford type brown hair colour black brows

i looked way better tanned when my face had baby fat and bloat as it did give a glow like you say

i just would take 50mg to load my system then take 25mgdaily. and no it looked good
 
East Asians look better pale due to the contrast with black hair.

Tanning is avoided as much as possible.

Depends how pale you are like if its super pale then its bad but if its a normal paleness then its good
