True, and that’s the sad reality. People genuinely get convinced they’ll “make it” when they’ve been predisposed to be at the bottom of the societal barrel. Even more fucked up is that one person’s maximum capacity may be another person’s baseline. Especially in creative work. Water but still crazy to think about even more so when you observe these people and their ignorant pursuit of becoming better despite being genetically limited
