Some retard is trying to press criminal charges against me

i got in a 10 second fight with a guy at a store yesterday, ran away left my stuff there, i went back today to apologise and ask for my stuff back but the guy and the retarded woman who work at the shop started screaming at me and wouldn't give me my stuff back and they said they are phoning police to press charges for "stealing" and "assault" even though i didn't steal anything. also the guy hit me first so it wasn't assault it was self defence
