So there’s this Pakistani grandpa who’s honestly hilarious. Probably the biggest troll I’ve met. For example, he would pretend to have dementia. If I saw him outside, he would greet me first, saying “How are you?” And then I would stop to answer, then he’d look all confused and be like “Who are you?”

Last year, he was at a facility for older people. He had been admitted there months prior. My family and I visited him, and he breaks down crying saying his family never comes to see him even though he’s been there for months. After we leave, I ask one of the caretakers if anyone comes to visit him and she’s like “His wife and children visit everyday.”
