why is it “NON NT” instead of “NOT NT”

it sounds retarded

vs

“I’m not neurotypical”

because retarded/non-nt people made that mistake and never noticed until now.
 
Non means an absence of
Not means false in a Boolean

Not truly nt vs without nt

non nt makes more sense
