Each state has a certain number of electoral college votes allocated to them. The biggest states like Florida, Cali and NY usually have the most. The candidate to reach 270 total electoral college votes win. Not all votes are counted hence why it is still up in the air.

Each state has number of 'electors' based on population. Each state as a whole votes for a candidate. The candidate who wins that state gets the electoral votes. Electors are essentially representatives for a population. However the electors still have to vote for real in december I think which means that some can actually vote for another candidate even though their state voted someone else.

All states have not been counted because of mail in votes which take longer.

Trump is leading right now and is set for victory unless the mail in votes cuck him.
